Crawley 4
Canterbury Pilgrims 1
Some good work by Seb Watson to find the defenders food in the circle, The corner was dispatched by Kieran fuller low to the keepers right going in off the inside of the post 1-0 Crawley.
Canterbury were given a short corner which they then managed to score from.
This injustice however spured on the home team Crawley were looking dangerous on the attack with great movement all over the pitch to create two on ones against the visitors.
Soon Crawley were ahead again when a good ball into the circle allowed Fuller who had the keeper on his back turned him to fire the ball into the empty goal. Fuller soon added to his haul and completed his hatrick from close range after some good two touch play around the area.
Crawley saw skipper Steve Innes yellow carded for bringing down the Canterbury player with a professional foul but the defence held firm, some good tracking back and some good saves from Thornton allowed Crawley to make sure the away side didnt take advantage of there numerical advantage.
Crawley scored a fourth when Innes squared the ball past the keeper for birthday boy Rob Gate to bundle the ball in from about a yard out to the delight of the home support.
