Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist came off his bike and was seriously injured at the weekend.
The biker was forced to brake hard in Station Road, Polegate, causing him to be thrown from the bike on Sunday (March 3).
The incident happened when a vehicle pulled out on the 21-year-old motorcyclist from Polegate who was riding his Suzuki bike at 8.05pm. He suffered serious leg and shoulder injuries and was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
The bike and car did not make contact with each other.
The car involved, which emerged from Western Avenue, is described as a dark coloured five-door hatchback and police are requesting the driver of that vehicle to come forward. They would also like to hear from any witnesses who saw the incident.
