A paramedic’s bag was stolen from an ambulance while the crew was on duty.
The bag was taken overnight on Saturday (April 20) between 10.30pm and 7am. It contained £500 worth of first aid equipment including needles and a respirator. No drugs were taken. A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “It was equipment that would have only been used or needed for a life-threatening call. It was an extremely mindless act that could have put lives at risk.” Call Sussex Police on 101 quoting 0457 of 20/4.
