After scoring 228-4 from 40 overs - mainly thanks to a brilliant 75not out from skipper Ross Legg and 65 from opener Liam Barrett - Bridges came within one wicket of victory, with Aldwick I finishing on 180-9.
Luke Johnson and Tahir Liaqat took three wickets apiece.
Three Bridges I lost to Cuckfield despite overseas signing Victor Davies taking five wickets.
