Hayden Bulloch walked away with the prestigious Best Senior award at the successful Crawley Amateur Boxing Club annual presentation of awards held at their gym in Jubilee Walk in Three Bridges on Sunday afternoon.
Hayden drew a big round of applause as club secretary Michael Decker presented him with the top trophy, the Secretary’s Cup.
His successful year was highlighted as he also won the President’s Cup for making the greatest progress at the ABA Southern Counties Championships.
And he rounded off a brillaint campaign by also winning the Roger Pearce Points Cup for ahieving the best results throughout the year.
Lloyd Trewin was the Most Improved senior, while the Best Newcomer was Tobiano Mancuso.
Charlie Clark won the Len Nugent Trophy for Best Senior Club Boy.
Sher Khan was Boxer’s Boxer while Charlie Clark was awarded the Grasshopper Cup for being Best All-round Club Boy.
James Verbeeten received the Alfred Bastin Shield for being named Club Captain.
Vince Smith received a Lifetime Achievement Award after being a successful boxer and trainer at the club for 35 years.
Among the junior winners were Joseph Kabede was Boxer’s Boxer for the Nursery Class, Deen Hussein was Under-11s Boxer’s Boxer.
Chidi Amanwa won the trophy for Best Junior Novice and some special framed golden gloves for winning the National Schoolboys title.
Matarr Wanda won the Paul Parsons Memorial Trophy, which was presented by the club’s press secretary Ron Parsons and was also Junior Captain.
Scott McGovern was Most Improved Junior, Ciaran kane was Junior Club Boyand Danny Pearce was the Most Stylish Boxer.
