Crawley Observer join forces with Furngate Youth FC for football fiesta

Your No.1 selling Crawley Observer is joining forces with Furngate Youth FC to bring a feast of youth football.

It’s the biggest and the best and it’s back!

Sponsored by the Crawley Observer, this year it boasts the largest entry in the history of the tournament with around 160 teams taking part on the larger than normal total of 12 pitches at Oakwood School in Horley.

Don’t miss our fantastic coverage of the event in next week’s edition of our paper we will be featuring an incredible 16 pages of coverage of all the local teams.

Prints of photos will be on sale taken by our talented team of photographers led by ace snapper Jon Rigby.

Simply note the reference number of the picture which appears in the paper and order online from our website www.crawleyobserver.co.uk and click on gallery.

You can also come into our brand new office in person to order them from Wednesday, July 10 onwards at 4, The Boulevard in Crawley town centre.

The opening matches on both Saturday and Sunday begin at 9.30am but organisers ask teams to arrive and register by 9am.

Saturday sees groups of under-sixes, sevens, nines, 11s, 13s and 15s.

On Sunday it is the turn of under-eights, U10s, U12s, U14s and U16s to battle out the honours.

Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend, manned by Furngate’s legendary master chefs.

Match referees are still wanted but most of the groups are full, the only vacancies being in the U16s age-group.
