Dear doc.
I have a mole in my neck since I was a little girl, lately I started to notice some changes in the shape and colour of the mole and it became irregular and darker. Should I get it removed?
What is your advice for me? Thank you.
It is always advisable to have your doctor check out a changing mole.
As it’s on your neck it may be that it is simply being traumatized by clothing/jewellery.
Happily most moles are harmless but some can change and need to be removed.
Removal of a mole is a minor procedure conducted as an out-patient.
