CURTIS MALIK led from the front as he captained the England under-13 squash team to a memorable victory in the junior five nations tournament in Cardiff.
The talented Crawley Squash Club star is already a quadruple champion, holding the county, regional, England and British singles titles, showed his quality by winning all four matches and conceding only three games.
Two of those were surrendered against the French and European No.1 Victor Crouin but that win helped the England team whitewash Scotland, Northern Ireland, Eire and Wales.
Malik beat the Scottish and Welsh No.1s 3-0 and also won 3-1 against the Irish No.1, ranked No.5 in Europe, 3-1.
But it was the victory over the European No 1 that meant England got off to a flying start and from there they never looked back.
Curtis played at No.3 last year when England lifted the title and this time was crucial in helping them retain the crown.
This was his seventh cap for England and all seven matches or competitions have been won.
Curtis trains at K2 and is sponsored by the company which runs the centre, Freedom Leisure.
