A woman was robbed on Christmas Day morning in Crawley, police heave revealed.
The 43-year-old local woman was approached near to the junction of Brighton Road and Goffs Park Road at around 1am by two men in their twenties, who pushed her over and stole her purse after she fell to the ground.
Detective Constable Heidi Mccall said: “Robbery is a terrible crime to experience at anytime, but it’s particularly awful for the victim to have been attacked on Christmas Day.”
The victim’s purse is a distinctive Cath Kidston style purse with a blue background, white spots and brown leather fastener with a popper.
The first suspect is described as white, 5ft 8in - 5ft 9in, stocky build, short blonde hair, clean shaven and wearing a jacket and jeans.
