Under-Nines League Cup final
JACK Foster paved the way for Maidenbower Colts to lift the cup after beating TD Shipley 4-0 in the final.
But an inspired game by the TD Shipley goalkeeper kept the sides level level at half-time (0-0) the despite Maidenbower Colts having most of the play.
Two goals from Jack Foster and one each man of the match Dillon Thistleton and Luke New in the second half sealed victory for Maidenbower.
Football in the Community officer Ed Stimpson watched both cup finals, chose the Man of the Match and presented the awards to the winners and runners-up. Harvey Booker refereed the game.
Under-Nines Invitation Cup final
IFIELD narrowly overcame Wealden Rangers 1-0 after extra-time after normal time finished goalless.
In the first half of extra-time man of the match Oliver Brazier scored the only goal giving Ifield a 1-0 win. Harvey Booker also refereed this cup final.
CRAWLEY Panthers FC are currently looking for players for next season 2012-13 at under-eights and also under 10s age groups.
