CRAWLEY kickboxing Champion Jody Blunt won her latest title fight in Aldershot.
Multi title champion Jody added the Maximum Battle K1 national title to her growing collection, beating tough opponent Kate Jones.
Jody Dominated from the first bell of a tough five round fight using her hand and leg combinations to great effect.
Jody said: “I am absolutely delighted as it was a big crowd at Aldershot who were cheering on the local girl.
“The promotor was good and I’ve been putting in lots of time and effort into my training.
“I would like to thank my trainer Greg who is brilliant and has trained me now for 12 years.
“Also I would like to thank by Dad Garry Blunt for helping me with my fitness work.”
Kat used her height advantage to good effect pushing forward throughout the fight but Jody was able to pick her off using superior foot work, allowing her to stay mobile, avoiding the ropes and countering to devastating accuracy.
This was Jody’s best fight to date winning every round by a landslide and the maximum battle K1 title.
